Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania: a view from the top

The Monongahela Incline is the “oldest continuously operating funicular in the United States,” according to Wikipedia. I believe it. Look at this (map):

The funicular has a capacity of 23 passengers and links the residential Mount Washington neighborhood at the top of the hill with the Monongahela riverfront below; across the river is downtown Pittsburgh. Here’s a view from the top of the incline, at Grandview Overlook (Google Streetview):
